Caterwaul’s Only the Lonely

Yes, you’ve guessed right: she is an only child and stole my heart so I decided to keep her. This girl is a Welsh/German/Dutch co-production: her father is German Ch. Udyn of the Cream von Tonkay, her grandfather was our Grand Champion Positively Cloten from Wales and her other grandfather is European Champion Hann of the Cream von Tonkay, also from Germany.

Her first litter was born on June 27th 2011: three cream boys and three blue tortie girls. Her second litter in 2012, once again three boys and three girls. Her third litter consisted of five kittens and was born in 2014. In view of these huge litters, we decided she’d done enough and had her neutered.

Caterwaul’s Only the Lonely is the end result of six generations of cream “Caterwaul” British Shorthairs.
It all started with my old “Gr. Int. Ch. Caterwaul’s Cream of the Cream”, born in 1994.

Until the age of sixteen he lived with his very first owner, mrs. Dickhoff, who knew a cat was for life, not for Christmas. When she died suddenly, Caterwaul’s Cream of the Cream and his 15-year-old son Lion were adopted by a kind vet in Vlaardingen. Seventeen-year-old Caterwaul’s Cream of the Cream died on September 22nd 2011.
